Running Order:  The Dow Jones is used to determine the starting numbers in the Open Stake. It will be in Yellow below.  The dog in Yellow will be #1 to run. Judges will be authorized to impose a system of rotation.

Call Backs:  An "X" will be placed in the boxes to show when the dog was called back for the next series.  If the dog is not called back for the next series, that area will be "grayed" out to show he/she is no longer in the competition. The final results will be in the "Placing" column for all who complete the Stake.

1st Series was a triple with a long middle retired gun shot off center, left and flyer to the right. The test looked very reasonable but proved otherwise.  A few dogs had a long hunt on the flyer but the big culprit was when sending your dog for the retired mark they rolled right down the slope with the lay of the land. This put them either a little too close the flyer or to the right of the mark. Of 25 starters we had 13 handles and 2 pickups. Several dogs went beyond the mark and there was the river--they swam for a long time out of sight, some 5-8 minutes or so and had to be called back in to handle from there or they stumbled on the bird when being called in. With all this the judges decided to still call back all dogs except the 2 pickups and the one scratch of course.

2nd/3rd Series combined. We moved to a different field by the ponds. The test was a land single having to take part of the gully if you stayed on line, then you did a "land blind" which was into the water, up on a big piece of a point, reentry, swim and bird on the far shore. Then you immediately did a water blind just to the right, long swim past a point catching the high grass if you were on line. Dogs did reasonable well with these tests. Three dogs so far picked up with 8 still to run starting at 7:30am tomorrow. Then will be callbacks for the water marks

4th Series: Water triple with long middle retired on the far shore after crossing two dog legs of land, flyer left and right bird up on shore thrown across a channel up in lilies at waters edge.  14 starters with 11 completing the stake.
