  Schedule of Stakes
       September 20, Tuesday         Open -  8 am and Qualifying - 9 am

       September 21, Wednesday    Amateur - 8 am and Derby - starts at conclusion of Qualifying, not before 10 am
       September 22, Thursday        Senior Puppy - 9 am  (9-12 mo)
                                                   Junior Puppy  (6-9 mo)  starts at conclusion of the Senior Puppy Stake
                                                   Baby Puppy    (4-6 mo)  starts at the conclusion of Junior Puppy Stake
                                                   Conclusion of all unfinished stakes and awarding of ribbons & trophies

Entries:  Entries shall be made through Entry Express On-line at www.entryexpress.net or download the premium and mail with payment to:
       Entry Express, PO Box 743, Charleston, AR 72933. Both must include the $4.50 administrative fee.
Entry Fee: $85 for Open and Amateur Stakes, $80 for Qualifying and Derby Stakes,  $25 for Puppy Stakes. 
                  Puppy Stakes may be entered at the trial but only those entered by the closing date will be listed in the catalog.

Closing Date:   Tuesday, September 6, 11:59 pm, with Entry Express  

Running Order:  The Dow Jones will be used to determine the starting numbers in the Open and Amateur Stakes. Judges will be authorized to impose a system of rotation in the Open and Amateur.

Courses and Birds:  Ducks will be used in all regular stakes. Ducks and/or pigeons will be used in all Puppy Stakes

Training:  Limited training Grounds will be available September 16, 17, 18, 19.  Maps, special instructions, and sign up sheets will be available at the Field Trial Headquarters, 44193 Back Rd, Ronan, MT . You can sign up in advance and order live ducks by emailing:  2016fts@gmail.com

September 23-25  Western Montana Retriever Club, Charlo, MT (1/2 hour away)
September 23-25  Your entries would be greatly appreciated at Snake River Retriever Club, Soda Springs, ID (7.5 hours away)

Air Flights:  Airports in the area would be Kalispell, Missoula, Butte and Spokane, WA. Many flights have smaller air cargo doors so make sure you specify with the airline if booking with a dog if you have an XL crate which is usually 30 inches high. This will not fit some of the planes. Don't be stuck at the airport and can't get your dog on board.

Bird Throwing Competition

New this year!!! We will hold a bird throwing competition for distance and accuracy. $5 per toss with the proceeds split between the winners and the FTS. Who will have the best arm in 2016???  More info to follow...
