The club is looking for your generous donations to make our Auctions a Success!  The Silent/Live Auctions are one of the many highlights of the National Specialty week.  The Auctions are not only entertaining; they are an important fundraising event.  Here’s your chance to re-home a new or gently-used Chesapeake collectible, or donate something you think another Chesapeake person might want or need, and support the ACC NSS in the process.  Please consider what you might contribute, whether big or small.

We’re looking for . .
.
.

One-of-a-kind handcrafted or glass/metal/woodworking items (examples: quilt, cutting board, aprons, coat racks, stained-glass, etc.), framed collectible art or prints, dog training equipment and supplies, bottles of wine and/or microbrew beers, a hosted hunting experience, shot gun, shot guns shells, hunting vest, dog collars/leashes, dog crates, and restaurant or outdoor retailer gift cards.  Consider these just starting ideas. Unique, useful or imaginative contributions are welcome.

We’re also looking for a number of regional or state “baskets” for this year’s Auction.  Highlight the part of the country you’re from by collecting an array of items unique to your state. Items may be delivered in-person to the NSS or shipped in advance to the Auction Chair.  Download the Auction Donation Flyer and Form.

Items being mailed must be received by September 12, 2014.  Please notify us if you are bringing your donated items to the show so that we can add them to the inventory of auction items.  For additional information, please contact Auction Chair, Colleen Gearhart chesmalcbr@verizon.net   or (410) 739-4052.  We look forward to seeing you there and thank you for your participation.

SPECIAL AUCTION ITEMS are also available by PROXY” BIDDING...

Shown below are items that will be available for sale at the Live Auction on Saturday night, 9-20-14, after the banquet.  These select items will be available for LIVE bidding as well as PROXY bidding via email.  These are very special items and we want them to be available to all Chesapeake owners whether they are at the national show/banquet or not.  If the winner is not present, we will ship the item with the shipping charges paid additionally by winning bidder.  Payment for all auction items can be made by credit card, check or cash.  The Exception is: any of the items sold via bids from people who are not at the auction and/or via e-mail must be paid immediately with a credit card over the phone.  No exceptions.  Click here for details on Proxy Bidding.

If you are interested in one of these items, please notify the auction chair, Colleen Gearhart via email by 9/19/14.  Include in your Email, your full name, shipping address, which items you will bid on, your maximum Proxy bid for each item, and a phone contact where you can be reached during the auction.  Have your credit card number available that night.  Contact: Colleen Gearhart  chesmalcbr@verizon.net
