Celebrating Your National Specialty -
We would like to invite you to the American Chesapeake
Club’s 2014 National Specialty Show to be held in
central Pennsylvania in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch
Country. This area is known for its rich history,
covered bridges, hand crafted Amish goods, fine food,
and fabulous shopping.
This year’s theme is “Key to the Future”. When we were
in the early planning stages for the National, we wanted
to celebrate the Chesapeake Bay Retriever past and
present and their heritage as a versatile hunting dog,
family companion, protector, and athlete. Their legacy
lies in the future of the breed, both dogs and
enthusiasts. Without them, all of our hard work and
that of those before us will have been for naught. This
belief is why we chose a puppy for this year’s logo and
will be the center of several exciting activities we are
planning.
Our National Specialty is not just a dog show, it takes
tremendous dedication from many people, and over two
years of planning. This would not be possible without
our National Specialty Show Committee volunteers.
Volunteers are an essential part of the success of our
National Specialty and are needed in all events.
Experience the enjoyment of being a part of the
National Specialty team. Many assignments need little
or no advance training. If you are new to any of these
events, this is a great opportunity to learn!! If you
would like to find out how you can help, either feet on
the ground, or pre-planning, please contact the show
chairs or one of the event chairs.
Events will include Tracking, Agility, Obedience, Rally,
Conformation and Working Dog stakes. Now is the time to
start training those youngsters, or teach your dog a few
new tricks and try a new event. Maybe this will be the
year you go for the Triple Crown Versatility Challenge!
While we often say it’s all about the dogs, we usually
find it’s also about the people. We invite you to join
us for the entire week of planned events and to meet old
friends and make new ones.
Check
back often for updates!!!!

There are a few errors in the official Results so Marty

I will post here when all is definitely correct.
The "cuts' are listed on the BOB page also.
