  will be decided at the end of the WD or WDQ but a combination of the above judges.

Start Time: WD 9 am, WDQ 9:30am. Check-in starting at 8:15 am.  A Test dog will run prior to the start of each Stake with a short discussion from the Judges.  The WDX will run at completion of the WD.  **Note-- The WD will run first. Land and water will run simultaneous. Each dog will run the Land, if they pass they will take their signed paper and go immediately to the water area. There are 4 judges for both the WD and WDX.  Two judges will be setup on land and two others at the water as the same time. There will be a large entry and we need to complete all three stakes in one day.  The WDQ will run simultaneous with the WD, will have 2 judges and will start with the land marks. The WDX will run at completion of the WD.

Please have your dogs aired and ready to go before it's your turn to be called to the holding blind. All dogs must be kept on lead when not running and must be kept back by the vehicles where they cannot see any of the tests being run.

Fees:   ACC Members  - $45 for each  stake     -    Non-Members - $50 for each stake
           Owner of the dog entered must be an ACC member by Entry Deadline to use the member fee.

Deadline for Entries:  Wednesday, August 27, 2014  - US Mail preferred.  Waive signature on all overnight couriers.  Mail your entry far enough ahead so it is received with payment by the deadline date.  No phone or email entries. 

**Note –Bitches in season cannot run and are not to be aired on the grounds of tests or parking lot areas.  Refunds are available. See the instructions in the WD Rules. Please notify us in writing in advance if you need to cancel an entry.

Running Order: a Draw and Running Order will be posted on the website on or before September 8.  Please Download and Print your copy of the typed  Catalog/Running Order or include your email address and we will email it to you by September 9.  Copies of the Catalog will not  be available at the WD for handouts..

WD/X/Q Rules:  All ACC members should have received a copy of the Rules and Guidelines after the updates of 2008 or with their new membership.  You can download additional copies below or from the ACC Website.  Please read through these rules before the day of the test.  The judges will go over the basic rules with everyone quickly before the start of the stake and you can ask a few questions then if needed.  Email or call Jane Pappler  609-859-3570 ahead of time if you need help understanding any of the procedures or have questions regarding the entry form. Please take time to read through the requirements and procedures in advance of the tests.  This will help you and your dog to be successful and not fail due to handler error. One important rule to remember is you cannot send your dog until you hear the Judge call your number....

WD:
  back to back singles on land and water.  No handling allowed.
WDX:  a double on land and a double on water, dogs must be steady and deliver to hand.  No handling allowed. Controlled break allowed if needed.
WDQ:  a double on land, a land blind, a water blind and a combination triple with two birds in water/one on land. Dogs must be steady and deliver to hand. Controlled break allowed if needed.

Driving Directions From LANCASTER HOST RESORT, 2300 Lincoln Hwy East, Lancaster, PA 17602  45 miles, 1 hour & 15 minute drive but allow additional time for slow horse/buggy traffic possibly.   ---   Start out going east on Lincoln Hwy E / US-30 E toward Doris Dr  1.0 mi, Turn right onto Hartman Bridge Rd / PA-896. Continue to follow PA-896  2.4 mi, Stay straight to go onto N Decatur St  0.7 mi, N Decatur St becomes May Post Office Rd. Turn right onto Valley Rd / PA-372.  0.2 mi   6.1 mi, Take the 1st left onto Pumping Station Rd   1.5 mi, Turn right to stay on Pumping Station Rd   2.7 mi, Turn left onto Kirkwood Pike / PA-472.  Continue to follow PA-472   8.4 mi, Turn slight right onto Pine St / PA-472  0.05 mi, Turn slight right onto N 3rd St / PA-10 / PA-472   0.02 mi, Take the 1st left onto Market St / PA-472. Continue to follow PA-472  4.2 mi, Turn left onto Lewisville Rd / PA-472  3.5 mi, Turn right onto Chesterville Rd / PA-841 (Crossing into Maryland   0.03 mi, Chesterville Rd / PA-841 becomes MD-213. Pass through 1 roundabout  12.4 mi, Turn left onto Elk Forest Rd  0.06 mi, Take the 1st right onto Knights Corner Rd  0.4 mi, Take the 1st left onto Woods Rd  0.8 mi,   295 Woods Rd is on the left.

From the NORTH:  From the Delaware Memorial Bridge - 25 miles and 34 minutes -  stay right, Merge onto  US-40 West / US-13 South toward  Dover / New Castle Airport, stay straight onto US-40 W / US-13 South, Take easy Left to Continue to follow only US-13 South which becomes RT 1 South. Take Exit 152 , turn right onto Rt 72 toward Delaware City / St Georges. At traffic light turn left onto Rt 71 / Red Lion Rd   (BP Gas  is on the right side corner ).  {About 2 miles down  Rt 71/Redlion Rd you will pass the local General Store where you can get lunch}. In 4 miles on Rt 71, turn left onto Chesapeake City Rd, Turn right onto Steele Rd, Travel 1 mi  turning slight left at sharp bend onto Woods Rd  (Crossing into Maryland). 295 Woods Rd is on the right

Lunch: local "General Store and Deli" within 6 miles of Rebel Ridge on Rt 71 (Red Lion Rd) , Bear, DE. --- Leaving Rebel Ridge, turn left, go 1.3 miles to stop sign.  Turn left, pass the Delaware Veterans Memorial  Cemetery to the stop sign. Turn right, go 2.2 miles to the "general Store" on your left just before the railroad tracks.

What to Bring:
 Water for you and your dogs, shade equipment, bug spray, lawn chair, whistle, flat buckle collar and leash, rain gear and boots if needed, and your lunch.  Please pickup all trash and take it home with you.

Volunteers are needed for the following Marshals for each stake, person to bag birds for the judges, live-bird gunners, people to pop/throw the dead bird for each stake, equipment luggers, grounds person to oversee parking and post/remove the signs, someone to pickup lunches for the judges, and a test dog for each stake that isn't running.  Anyone shooting should have a valid hunting license and orange to wear. For all concerned - make sure your dog has had gun fire, bird boys in white coats, and is picking up ducks before the competition.  No cigarette butts thrown on grounds.  All dogs must be on leash in parking area and when being aired.  No dogs permitted in the gallery or near the line except the competing dog. When dogs are running, please do not walk around in the gallery, avoid loud talking and do not wear white.  Any of these can be very distracting to the dogs and the contestants. Please drive slowly on the Farm, park only where designated and only air dogs where designated.  This is private property, people live here and have a Boarding Kennel Business here as well.
