Courses and Birds: Mallard Ducks will be
used in all regular stakes. Mallards and/or pigeons may be used in
the Puppy stakes.
Additional Trials:
There are back-to-back trials on the
two weekends preceding the Specialty that will be held on the same
grounds. Both are hosted by the Minnesota Iron Range Retriever
Club. (MIRRC) What this means is that people who arrive early enough
can run three trials in about 10 days and never have to move. The
closest trial following the Specialty is hosted by the Central
Minnesota Retriever Club. This trial is in St Cloud, MN, which is
about 3 hours driving time (south) from the Specialty.
